"Mathematic" Department

History of the department

The Department of Mathematic was founded in August, 2004. It forms a part of Physics, Mathematics and Computing Technology Faculty at Pavlodar State University after S. Toraigyrov. Head of the department is Isin Meiram Estaevich. This department is a follower of mathematical faculties of Pavlodar Industrial Institute originated in 1961 and Pavlodar Pedagogical Institute founded in 1962.On July 10, 2010 Department called the Department of Mathematics.

At present there are 2 doctors of sciences (Drobotun B.N., Isin M.E.), 7 professors of PSU (Mukanov G.M., Drobotun B.N., Muhtarov M.M., Pavlyuk I.I., Shintemirova G.B., Akhmetov G.B., Khamitov M.K.), 3 senior lecturers (Zalybovskaia J.A., Tikhomirov Yu.V., Bayachmetova F.), 12 senior lecturers (Ismagulova N.M., Zacharova O.A., Bergusinova T.M., Muchamedzyanova N.I., Shomanova R.E., Mashrapova G.N., Syzdykova A.T., Kudaibergen M.K., Abdrachmanova A.M., Sembaeva N.T., Bashirova A.N., Tenyaeva L.I.).

Issin Meiram Yestaevich has become the Head of Mathematic Department since the 1st September, 2011. He graduated KazSU. In 1993 M. Ye. Issin defended a candidate dissertation in Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on the specialty 01.01.01 – Mathematical Analysis. In 2010 he defended a doctoral dissertation in National Academy of Education named after Y. Altynsarin on the specialty 13.00.02 – Theory and Methodology of Teaching and Training (mathematics in system of primary, secondary and higher education). Currently Mr. Issin is studying the problems of mathematical disciplines teaching methods for students of at Universities of Economics and implementing research results in frames of system of higher education.

Position occupied: Head of Algebra and Mathematical Analysis Department

Research works (publications, textbooks, monographs, educational aids etc.): Monograph (2007) “Perfection of education to mathematical disciplines for students of economic specialties”, 4 educational methodological aids, more than 50 publications.

Awards: Prize letter from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 1997, Breastplate “Honorable worker of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan”

Theme of current research: Teaching mathematical disciplines for economic specialties: professional direction of teaching mathematical disciplines at Universities of Economics, teaching technology of mathematical disciplines to future economists.
