5 General Objective:
Providing assistance to universities in Russia and Kazakhstan in improving methods of developing new training programs meeting the current needs of the economic sector; enhancing employability of graduates and improving the relations between universities and professionals through the creation of a new Master's degree program in the field of food safety, production and marketing of traditional products.
6 Specific Objectives:
- improving food safety standards;
- meeting the demands of food producers, retailers and consumers;
- strengthening relations between European universities and universities in Russia and Kazakhstan in the field of food safety and processing technology;
- promotion of entrepreneurship in the regions of Russia and Kazakhstan with a weak economy.
7 Project Performance Progress:
- a seminar was held for the participants of the project at A. Baitursynov Kostanai State University;
- an online conference and training with the participation of all partners taking part in the project were conducted;
- development of questionnaires for the survey of employers and professionals with the aim to change and correct Master’s degree programs is carried out.

8 Effectiveness of the Project at the Macro and Micro Levels:
The project is focused on re-training of teachers, development and implementation of various information and practical training methods, as well as the introduction of distance learning and professional development.
