I am pleased to welcome you to the website of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University!
Our University has been successfully carrying out its research and academic activities for more than 50 years. Over this period, the University has trained many highly qualified specialists in accordance with the highest standards and requirements, including the principles of the Bologna Declaration on the three-stage model of education (Bachelor - Master - PhD).
Active positioning of the University in the global education area is the guarantee of a stable scientific, educational and cultural growth of PSU.
PSU was awarded the European Quality prize at the Oxford Summit of Leaders in the Field of Business, Science and Arts.
The University received a certificate of compliance with the International Standard ISO from the Russian Register Association and IQNet International Certification Network.
According to the National General Rating of the Best Universities of Kazakhstan, Pavlodar State University was named among top 5 multidisciplinary universities of our country in 2013, thus having confirmed the result shown in 2012 and retained its position among the leaders of the higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
We participate in international rankings: we took the third place among Kazakhstan's universities in the Webometrics ranking in 2013.
An important strategic aspect of the University development in the context of the Bologna process parameters is passing a multilevel system of education quality assessment.
The University successfully passed the specialized accreditation by ACQUIN (Germany), international specialized accreditation by AKKORK (Russia), national institutional accreditation by IQAA, as well as specialized accreditations by IAAR and IQAA.
The academic staff of Pavlodar State University conducts research activities in such innovative areas as nanotechnology, resource-saving and energy-saving technologies, development of metallurgy and mechanical engineering, construction and production of construction materials, biotechnology and development of the pharmaceutical industry, information technology, social science and humanities.
