History of the making the department
Department of Physical Culture and Sports has existed since the opening day of the Pavlodar Industrial Institute in 1960. The Department provides a physical education classes. A sports club functioned at the department, where for 10 years were prepared 22 masters and candidate for masters of sports, 3206 rated sportsman, and also management of athletic training in favorite sport.
In 2008 University took the license on educational activity according to the specialty 050108 – “Physical training and sport”. That year the first group on postal tuition on the basis of secondary professional education and on the basis of higher professional education was admitted. In 2009 the admission on all forms of education as paid, so according to the government grant will be carried out. Availability of good material and technical basis and qualified faculty provide qualitative training for specialists in the sphere of physical training and sport.
Leader of the Department
Head of the department is candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Mastobayev Juriy Anatolyevich. In 1989 he graduated from Pavlodar pedagogical institute in the specialty “Physical training and sports”, in 2006 – from Pavlodar State Pedagogical Institute in the specialty “Psychology”.
In 2007 he defended the dissertation “Formation of skill of making administrative decision by higher school executives” in the specialty
13.00.08 – Theory and methods of professional training.
In 2011 he received the academic rank of associate professor.
He has more than 30 scientific publications.
He has more than 30 scientific publications, a certificate of recognition for the electronic teaching aid, the results of his research are introduced in process of improvement of higher school faculty professional skill in Kazakhstan and Russia.
