Activity course:
Faculty Development department is an organization department of Pavlodar State University named after S. Toraigyrov, which organizes and performs faculty development of the teaching staff of the university as well as heads of organizations and enterprises of different profile and specialists within the limits of licensed education activity of university.
The main goals and tasks:
- The organization of professional skill improvement of the faculty on the basis of interuniversity, international contracts and programs;
- Assistance to professional skill improvement and retrainings of experts of industrial enterprises and regions’ education system for the purpose of a diversification of programs and additional educational services financing sources.
- Creating proper conditions for obtaining education programs of complementary professional education.
- Raising the level of the skills and professional retraining of university teaching staff, outer organizations and enterprises.
- Satisfaction of the specialists’ demands to acquire the knowledge about the achievements in corresponding branches of science and technology, leading local and foreign experience.
- Consulting on the questions of arrangement of organizations and enterprises workers’ skill improvement.
- Scientific substantiation of programs, projects, recommendations and other documents and materials according to the work profile.
- Development of education and methodical materials aiming at raising of the university staff training and retraining quality.
- Approbation and implantation of new technologies and teaching methods, informatization of education and other professional activities, outlet to international global communication nets.
- Study, synthesizing and spreading of scientific and technical, economical and pedagogical experience.
Additional data:
Within the limits of the international cooperation has concluded contract with members of Association «Siberian open university» more 40 high schools of Siberian region of Russia and Kazakhstan uniting.
Courses, seminars, individual training on a sub-faculty and at the enterprise on the job, trainings, summer schools on certain specialities are the forms of professional skills improvement.
Leading scientists of Kazakhstan and the nearest abroad are invited for conducting of seminars on actual problems of teaching disciplines on speciality.
