"Sectoral Economics" department
HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT
Educational department of "Sectoral Economics" was organized in accordance with the order of the rector 1-5/338 of June 24, 2003. The head of the department is candidate of economic science, professor of Pavlodar State University named after S. Toraigyrov, Sarsembekova Samal Erkebaevna.
The department consists of 12 teachers, one professor, three associate professors of Pavlodar State University, two masters of economics, 3 senior teachers.
The department teaches 85 courses in 35 specialties.
One of the activities is the supervision of economic part of diploma projects of students of biology, chemical, architectural, energetic, machine building specialties.
Research and teaching staff is engaged in research in various sectors of the economy under the leadership of the leading scientists of Kazakhstan.
MANAGEMENT OF THE DEPARTMENT
Sarsembekova Samal Erkebaevna
Head of the department " Sectoral Economics " is candidate of economic sciences, associate professor of State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles of the Republic of Kazakhstan, professor of PSU after S.Toraigyrov name. Dissertation was defended in dissertation council 14.63.01 at A. Baitursynov Kostanay State University in 2003. She has been working at PSU since 2000, research and teaching experience is 11 years.
Sarsembekova S. gives lectures and holds practical lessons for students of all forms of training in the following disciplines: "The Theory of Public Administration", "Socio-economic policies in the region", "Economic Theory," "Economics and Management in JSC", "State regulation of the economy." Under the guidance of Professor S. Sarsembekova about 118 theses and 50 master's theses were defended. She is actively involved in the development of teaching materials of disciplines and teaching materials of department specialties. She has created complete set of techinf material in "Business Law", "Socio-economic policies in the region", "Economics of Tourism", "Economics and Management in JSC", "State regulation of the economy," etc.
In 2009 Sarsembekova S. was elected as a corresponding member of the International Academy of Informatization.
Sarsembekova S. is a member of the Association "Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists", Astana city.
Sarsembekova S. has about 85 scientific publications, including one textbook "Export-oriented production in the world economic system: Theory and Practice", a monograph on the topic: "International economic integration", 5 publications in foreign journals (Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and so etc.), and 12 in the publications recommended by the Committee for Control of Education and Science, as well as the materials of international, national and regional conferences.
In 2010 five monographs were published on the topic: "Prospects for the socio-economic and territorial development of regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan."
In 2010 she was one of the creators of development programs in the Pavlodar region in 2011-2015. She has about 10 acts on the implementation into production. She took advanced courses, has about 20 certificates as part of ICMA, «Soros - Kazakhstan Foundation", "Eurasia Foundation", "Education network / EdNet» of corporation KAPAHA / USAID, etc.
She has repeatedly participated in the commission of Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on higher education institutions accreditation.
