From April 14 to April 28, 2012

Within the realization of the advanced training of teaching staff the Department of International Cooperation of Pavlodar State University named after S. Toraigyrov organizes the visit of foreign lecturers. For the period from April 14 to April 28, 2012 in order to conduct lectures, information trainings, the introduction of modern techniques and training programs with the teaching staff there was invited an expert of SES, Mr. Peter Otto Althof (Germany).

He has also working on the improvement of skills of the teaching staff of PSU named after S. Toraigyrov.

The professor gave lectures and worked on the improvement of skills and on professional training of the teaching staff at the departments of Heat and power engineering and Electric power engineering.

Also, there were conducted meetings with the leadership of the University, heads of departments, as well as with the teaching staff of the University. Mr. Althof mentioned that Kazakhstan has large reserves of coal, oil and gas, which is necessary for the development of the energy industry.

Peter Althof said that the territory of Kazakhstan has a lot of unexplored land, he also expressed the desire for further and close cooperation with our University and thanked for the warm welcome and hospitality.
