"Electric power industry" department: About specialities and specializations

The Pavlodar State university named by S.Toraigirova makes a set and preparation of the students on a speciality 050718 — "Electric power industry" (state license ÀÀ № 0000038, on the basis of the order of Ministry of education and science of Kazakhstan Republic from 07.08.2004 years № 671), with assignment of qualification " the bachelor of electric power industry ".

Full time study on the basis of General Secondary Education and Secondary Vocational Education; distant study on the basis of  Secondary Vocational Education and Higher Professional Education.

Language of training is state, Russian.

050518 speciality “Power engineering” is divided into following specialities: 

- Electric power supply (according to branches);

- Electric power and supply systems;

- Electric power stations;

- Technological complexes electric drive and automation.

The set of the students is made on the basis of the state grant, and also on a contractual basis providing flexible system of payment for training.

The preparation of the bachelors is made with application new technologies with application multimedium computer programs of training of the students on special disciplines.

The degree and course designing is spent with application of systems of automatic designing, and also with wide use of the new computer programs for engineering accounts of parameters of electropower, electrotechnological objects and systems.

The graduates of a speciality 050718 — "Electric power industry" upon termination of training receive the diploma of a state sample.

At faculty "Electric power industry" is open magistracy, post graduate course and doctoral candidacy on electropower specialities.
