S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University is taking part in the process of international accreditation of the educational programmes.

One of the main stages of this procedure is the visit of an expert group of the international accreditation agency. For this reason the expert group form Germany of international accreditation ACQUIN visited S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University from 1 to 4 June, 2011.  ACQUIN was organized in 2011 in the result of Bologna process; it has been functioning on the base of the license of German Council on Accreditation and is authorized to confirm the quality of successfully accredited educational programmes.

The agency delegation included: representatives of ACQUIN Michael Havlin and Magdalena Lib; professor, doctor of political sciences Hans-Christian Brauvailer; professor, doctor of political sciences Andreas Knorr; Micle Speit; professor, doctor of science of Uilrih Stelkens; cultural administrator, specialist of trade Ralf Trimborn; professor, doctor Tilman Stainer; postgraduate student of the programme “Management” Natalia Fertih.

The purpose of visit of the expert group – acquaintance with the structure and the system of education of the university, accreditation of the educational undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of the following specialties: “Economics” (BA/MA), “Management” (BA/MA), «Finance» (ВА), «Accounting and audit» (ВА), «Public and local administration» (ВА) и «Tourism» (ВА). According to the program of visit meetings and interviewing with university administration, faculty deans, heads of departments, academics and lecturers, students and alumnus to identify the complaints with international standards of quality were held. During the visit of the delegation excursions to the museum complex, S.Beisembaev scientific library, and university rooms were carried out.

In August this year receiving and concordance of decision of international accreditation agency ACQUIN expert group is expected. In December meeting will be held and the commission of international accreditation agency ACQUIN will take the final decision about the accreditation of S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.
