1. Scientific and Practical Center for Regional History and Ethnography named after Ye. Bekmakhanov
(head Kudabajev A.Z.)
takes part in arrangement of scientific work on systematization and generalization of the results of archeological, ethnographical, historical researches, as well as – in the sphere of natural sciences. Main direction of center:
- organization of scientific work on systematization and generalization of the results of archeological, ethnographical, historical researches;
- formation of civicism and patriotism in the society through communion common people with knowledge of rich local history;
- coordination of scientific, organizational and practical measures, directed on concentration forces of university organization departments – departments of humanitarian profile, museums and scientific library, as well as interested district, municipal and oblast institutions, individuals.
Center has published the following works: encyclopedia of Pavlodar district ‘Павлодардың Ертіс өңірі’, photo album ‘Наскальные рисунки Павлодарского Прииртышья’, ‘Кереку-Баян өңірінің тұлғалары’, ‘Дана даналары’; books- series ‘Рухнама’ (50 volumes) called ‘Кереку –Баян кітапханасы’, book ‘Ғұлама’, reference literature ‘Историография истории Павлодарской области’ etc. In the framework of programme ‘Cultural heritage’ were published ‘Сочинения в семи томах Е.Бекмаханова’ (3,4,7 volumes). It is planned to publish encyclopedia ‘Асыл мұра’ (3 volumes), ‘Қазақ тіл білімінің анаталогиясы’(30 volumes), ‘Тұран’, ‘Алтын бесік’, ‘Атамекен’, ‘Ақ отау’, ‘Ұлпан’, ‘Сұлтанмахмұт энциклопедиясы’.
2. Joint Research Center for Archeological Studies named after A.Kh. Margulan
(head Victor Merts)
Archaeological scientific-practical center named after A.Kh. Margulan was founded in 2001 by convention with Institute of Archaeology named after A.Kh. Margulan of National Academy of Sciences of the RK, and is its regional branch. The center was founded on the basis of Pavlodar archaeological expedition (head - V.K. Merts), organized in 1988 at protection of monuments department of Pavlodar oblast local history museum. Its aim is scientific-research directed at the protection research of conducive to accident archaeological monuments and on the territory of the north-east of Kazakhstan and their further comprehensive study.
During the time of the center’s functioning, the research of many conducive to accident monuments of great cultural-historical significance was conducted. New materials on various stages of ancient and medieval history of Pavlodar Pre-Irtyshye, North and Central Kazakhstan in the whole have been obtained.
The major objects of research of Pavlodar archaeological expedition before the center foundation were the relics and monuments of the Stone Age, from the Lower Paleolithic Age to the Aeneolithic Age. Recently, in connection with the center foundation and addition of the staff by new specialists, the circle of the studied objects has been enlarged.

The Scientific-Practical Center for Ethnological Pedagogy and Innovative Technologies after Zh. Aimauytov pursues the following goals and objectives:
From the methodological point of view: social-methodological problems of pedagogy, ethnological pedagogy and innovational technologies of education; methods and means of pedagogy, ethnological pedagogy and innovational technologies of education; main problems of pedagogy, ethnological pedagogy and innovational technologies of educations; investigational problems of pedagogy, ethnological pedagogy and innovational technologies of education.
The coordination activity of the Center consists in the fact that the research workers Zhumatayeva Ye., Beisova A.Ye., Iskakova Z.S., Kabdiyeva S.Sh., Zharkumbayeva M.M.,, Nurlina N.Zh., Asainova A.K. carry out the coordinating activity of the university staff and the city and oblast teachers (secondary schools No. 35, 22, 8, 5, the Altynsarin gymnasium No.3, school-lyceum No.10 for gifted children) in the development and improvement of education.
4. Scientific and Practical Center for Mashkhur Studies

The main scientific directions of the centre:
- study spiritual, folk, cultural, literary heritage of Mashhur Zhussip Kopeev;
- study the role of M-Z Koppev as folklorist- collector of oral literature etc.
5. Regional Center for Political Research named after T.S. Sadykov
(head Irenov G.N.)
The main goal – development of new approaches, permitting to carry out comparison of world political systems and institutes, belonging to different times and traditions, revealing evolutional analogies between postsoviet republics, analysis of diversity of types, forms and signs of political development, its inner contradictions.
Tasks of the Center:
- study political life in various forms;
- study mechanism of establishing and realization of political relations;
- analysis in the whole political processes in transforming space;
- observing political institutes in action and in their results;
- creative understanding and use of available experience in the world policy;
- comparative and objective-expert analysis of different system contradictions;
- development of political programs, affecting on consciousness of mass and forming viewpoints and ideals;

The main functions of the Center:
- Carrying out linguistic courses in official and foreign languages;
- Development of programmes for special courses and seminars in official language, as well as educational literature for students, postgraduates of linguistic specialties;
- Development of electronic multimedia textbooks in official language;
- arrangement of collaboration with republican Centers for exchange experience;
- employee’s participation in conferences.
7. Scientific and Practical Center for Biotechnology
(Head Bekseitov T.K.)
The purpose of the theoretical and practical centre is improvement of genetic and pedigree quality and augmentation of milk and meat producing capacity by application of achievements of science and engineering to increase competitiveness of livestock farming in the region. This is why the centre carries out theoretical and practical works in following areas on basis of economic covenants, which was concluded with farmers, private companies and limited partnership:
— increasing, by breeding, genetic and pedigree quality of cattle, which is propagateв in private and collective sectors;
— stocking of hay and haylage from deervetch bird's-foot by new technology and using it for increasing the milking capacity of cows and slaughter weight of feeder cattle meal;
— application of embryos transplantation biotechnology in cattle-breeding;
— Guidance of degree works and yearly essays, and holding practical training for students;
— organization of short-term courses for training of specialist, which are necessary in livestock sector etc.
8. Research Center for Environmental Monitoring
(Head Akhmetov K.K.)
The functions of the scientific-research eco center “Monitoring” in the next directions:

— In the sphere of the practical help for production.
9. Kazakh-German Embryo Transfer Research Center
(Head Magash Ayztkhan)
The Center works in the field of biotechnology of cells. The main goal of the scientific and research work of the Center is to develop a method of obtaining, evaluation and transplantation of embryos from cows bred in the North-East Kazakhstan.
To achieve this goal, we have defined the following tasks:
- to determine the best dosage of the drug to induce superovulation using different doses of the "Pluset" hormone for cows and heifers;
- to determine the number and quality of embryos obtained from superovulated cows of Simmental and Kazakh white breeds by means of a comparative analysis;
- embryos from cows and heifers, sorted by morphological indicators and compliance with the stages of development;
- to determine the level of development of embryos transplanted to the recipients by means of the transcervical method;
- to compare the ovaries of superovulated cows and heifers using an ultrasonic device to the result of rectal examination;
- getting transplant calves by means of embryo transfer.

- contributing to the strengthening of national unity of Kazakhstan, development of harmonious inter-ethnic relations, tolerance and inter-faith harmony;
- prevention of penetration of non-traditional religious formations of destructive and totalitarian character;
- creative thinking and the use of accumulated experience in the field of the inter-faith and inter-ethnic harmony.
