Architecture and Design Department:Practical-Laboratory Center

For realizing of learning process and professional training the Department has study rooms: studio B1-308a «Architecture physics, lightening technology and acoustics”, B-311 “Painting studio”, B1-305 “Picture studio” in which the following equipment and tools are used:

Easels;

Gesso figures;

Moulages;

Draperies;

Stages for performance;

Soffits for artificial lightening;

Visual materials;

To carry out all sorts of practical work the department concluded the long-term contracts with all leading city, region and republic companies  ( “The department of architecture and town-planning of Pavlodar region” State Institution, Pavlodar city, contract № 19 from 12.01.2009; “Matkarymov” Private Entrepreneurs, contract № 24 from 12.01.2009).

Computer halls B-307, B307a, the scientific-technological park where students acquire computer skills with modern operating systems (Windows 2000/XP), AutoCAD and Autodesk Architectural Desktop systems, which let the students make an engineering drawing of different format; with the system of architectural designing ArchiCAD, 3D which also let the students create virtual, three-dimensional  model of designed building, applied programs SCAD which let to do engineering calculations, word processor Word, tabular processor and database management system Access.
