Islyam Kanat Serikovna, Assistant Professor of Pavlodar State University after S.Toraygyrov.

Islyam K.S. graduated from Almaty Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages, 1976.

After graduating from the institute she worked as a teacher of English and German languages at school № 4, Pavlodar.

From 1978 to 1986 Islyam K.S. worked in laboratory of Foreign Languages at Pavlodar Pedagogical Institute.

From 1986 to 1994 — head of educational-training laboratory of the faculty of Foreign Languages.

In 1994 — teacher of English, the department of Foreign Languages.

From 1996 — senior lecturer of Pavlodar State University by S.Toraigyrov.

In 2008 — Assistant Professor of Pavlodar State University.

In 1996 — professional development course in specialty “English Language”. She has passed the candidate minimum exams in Foreign language (certificate 1-02-28/1723 from 12.09.2003); in Kazakh language (certificate 1-10/355 from 12.04.2002); in Philosophy.

Research area: "Use of metaphor in oratorical development ", supervisor-professor Zhumataeva E.U.

Islyam K.S. reads such disciplines as "Introduction to Specialty", "Modern Methods of Foreign Languages Teaching", "Foreign Literature", "Classical Philology", “Latin and Old Greek Languages”.

Islyam K.S. supervises students’ course papers and diploma projects in Philology.
